Careers at the Center for Infectious Disease Research

The Center for Infectious Disease Research is the largest independent non-profit in the U.S. focused solely on infectious disease research. Fourteen million people lose their lives to infectious diseases each year. Our researchers and staff work tirelessly to make transformative scientific advances that lead to new vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics that prevent and treat infectious diseases.
Nearly 40 years ago, the Center for Infectious Disease was founded as a non-profit organization devoted to the research of global infectious disease. The Center holds true to those roots today, having grown to include over 250 staff members who work collaboratively with one common goal: to eliminate the world’s most devastating infectious diseases.
